***Where do I find coupons?*** If you've looked around any other Canadian couponing sites most will tell you they're everywhere. I'll tell you now that, no, actually there not everywhere when you live this far from a large urban center.
This situation is what I would refer to as a Sundre Savvy Shopper Challenge. It's not impossible to find them, however I have found I really do have to look harder and work harder - and further than Sundre - to find them. I'm referring to paper coupons not the online ones. 1. Retail Outlets: Grocery, Drugstore
Generally speaking, manufacturer's coupons can be found in grocery stores and drugstores on Tear Pads or in Coupon Booklets. They will be displayed next to the product the coupons are for.
Store issued 'sticky discount stickers' are another form of coupon that can be found grocery stores and drugstores as well as almost every other type of retail outlet. The reason for these 'discount stickers' in most cases is to move grocery items that are close to their expiry date. As they are unadvertised they will only be spotted by being in the store. They will be attached (sticky) directly to the product or product packaging. Applying a manufacturer's coupon, where permitted, to these already heavily discounted items will result in you getting them for FREE! With only one grocery store and two drugstores in Sundre, all of which have significantly smaller retail square footage space than that found in larger centers, means coupon availability is not that abundant and you may need to venture further in search of these types of coupons. I'm not suggesting driving specifically to find coupons as the overall cost of that would defeat the purpose! However if you have to travel to other towns or cities anyways for other purposes it would be worth your while to scope stores if you have time or opportunity.
